10/22/2009 White SnowReally had a bad day today
只不过当一众人从Lab里出来的时候, 我看到了漫天飞雪
今天的第一场雪就这样没有预兆的下了
Oh my god, 我不禁小声说了一句
边上的加拿大同学都笑了 it's just snow
雪花落在头发上, 冷的刺骨 耳朵也冻红了
不禁想到在广州11月还穿短袖的情景
回到"家", 脱了外套, 其实还是穿短袖. 跟广州不同的只是此时窗外下着雪罢了
下个雪都能写个blog, 最近的生活的确是太没有新意了
10/18/2009 Broke up继大二时眼镜被整个掰断之后,杯具再次发生. 只不过这次花的不再是200RMB而是200$.

10/12/2009 Concise Tour of Québec City10/10/2009 What a hectic day! 忙什么的一天?周五和周六这两天都是考验人的. 周五上午 Workshop, 探讨graduate student与supervisor的关系. 中午在Tim Hortons吃了个Sandwich Combo就了事. 下午是northwestern教授的IO Seminar. 晚上一直没吃, 赶场去上Econometrics的TA Session. 淋雨回家后发现有同学从Ottawa过来, 又赶去Berri-UQAM接人, 搭地铁护送至市郊才罢休. 回到家约10点多. 继续准备下周四的Micro Midterm, 没看几页书, 就12点了. 遂就寝. 周六在图书馆泡了一整个白天, 其实亦没看几页书. 效率很低. 中午亦是Tim Hortons的Latte和Donut. 下午被同学叫出去吃饭, 走了大半个城, 来到一家破旧的小店, 但是酒香不怕巷子深, 门口的长龙拍的老长. 在寒风中等了约40分钟, 期间还碰见另外一拨同学路过… 可见Montreal有多小…终于品尝了著名的Smoke Meat Sandwich, 这肉吃的, 有点武松吃牛肉的意味了.一行人吃罢西餐自觉不爽, 又沿路穿城而过直指唐人街. 在唐人街吃了此地著名的烧牛肉越南米粉和烧猪肉萌. 这才算吃饱喝足. 在唐人街逛了一圈后, 发现了金不换旁边有一家粤式蛋糕店, 一去不得了, 看到了叉烧包, 菠萝包, 奶皇包 etc. 于是又买了叉烧包品尝. 味道的确正宗, 和广州的有的一比. 这才作罢, 众人在地铁站道别散去. 回到家又已10点. 明日去魁北克的省府(Capitale-Nationale du Québec, 这个法文字是不是很让人产生某种联想… 的确!它就是魁北克人心中的首都)魁北克市(Ville de Québec)游览. 期待漫山的红叶. 明日待续 10/7/2009 Au Revior, BlackberryI sell my blackberry today for $250 cash, which is the same price I bought it 3 months ago. Quite a good deal, right? since I used it for 3 months for nothing. Blackberry is cool but still not comfortable with me. So, I am switching to LG enV2, hope this works with me well. 10/4/2009 Laser Quest今天去玩枪战, 真人CS, 类似Paintball, 只不过是用激光. 很刺激. 战绩不错, rank 6th out of 20 person. 被杀20次, 杀人50次. 战术依旧是在CS中的猥琐流, 我躲在某角落守株待兔, 见人就杀.. 室内场景太紧张. 尤其是一个人贴着墙守住路口的时候. 下次应该去户外玩. P.S.今天去的印度阿三真多... Chinese embassy in canada invites some McGill students for dinner this week. I am lucky enough to be invited, but unfortunate to be there. The whole event is boring, excuse my boldness, and the food is more than disgusting. Worse still, Canadian frosty night make it a completely catastrophe :( Heating was turned on today. I feel fairly warm and cozy at home. There are no more activities this weekend. I just need some rest, and some time for my lag-behind study. Rule of thumb: reduce the opportunities outside as much as possible in winter…No moon today, weather constrains again. So, this is my pointless mid-autumn festival without long-vacation, without moon cakes and without moon. |
