Time to Finish and Start

I've suffered from lots of final exams this year. And another one is
just around the corner. Bloody fighting has begun!

处女作 - Issue 51 -GRE分析写作

51"Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

第一篇Issue,当然惨不忍睹。憋了一个多小时才写出来还要不够500字。以后的进步空间看来很大,本文自评2分。(跟Alex相比真是相形见绌,怪不得我四六级作文都没有60...)

Outline:
 有保留的反对。

1.meeting the individual needs and interests could inspire students to learn and through which can encourge students to concerntrated on the specific fields suitable for themselves.
2.However, mearly depending on students' interest may be unreliable: (1)lack of all-around training, especially when it come to the case of basic fundermantal course such as Maths which most students dislikes. (2)students' interest could not persist (3)students need some guidelines on making the correct decision that fits them best.
3.specifically designed education may be but may not be the ONLY way to acheive effectiveness. Through coopration activities and discussion students can learn to work together with others. That's the importance point missed in the specifically designed education system.

The speaker asserts that only specifically designed Education which meets the individual needs and interests of each student will be truly effective. While I concede that specifically designed education could inspire students to learn, this statement ignores the reliability of students' interest and goes to extreme when using the term "ONLY".
To begin with, I agree with the speaker insofar as specifically designed inspires students to learn and through which can encourage students to concentrated on the specific fields suitable for themselves. One of the most famous educators said "Interest is the best teacher for students". It is the strong interest in nature that encourage Newton to discover the physics law existed in our world only staying in his little room for much of his lifetime. Thus, for the same reason, Interest should encourage student's curiosity for knowledge. Once each individual student's interest is taken into account in our education system, students would be inspired to learn and search for knowledge, and further more, concentrated on the specific fields suitable for themselves.
Yet, only reliable interest should encourage student's curiosity for knowledge. Or put in another way, we may question the polarization, instability and vagueness of student's interest in the following aspect. First, the interest could not be all-around and hence students will lack of well-around training, especially when it come to the case of basic fundamental course such as Maths which most students dislikes. Second, students' interest tends to change as time passing by. Consider the student with interest in physic in January but change his mind to economics in February. Should our education system cater such unstable interest needs which only lead students to unfocused aimlessness and failure? Third, students may be too childish and hardly know what their true interest and ability are. Thus, students need some guidelines on making the correct decision that fits those best in this case.
Finally, specifically designed education may be but may not be the ONLY way to achieve effectiveness. Consider our specifically designed education delivers politics to politics-interest students and chemistry to chemistry-interest students. But in our society things such as dealing with pollution problems need to be done both with politics and chemistry. That's the importance point missed in the specifically designed education system. Therefore, cooperation activities and discussion are other ways that help students learn to work together with others and achieve education effectiveness.
In sum, I agree with the speaker as specifically designed inspires students to learn, at least to some extend. After all, Interest is the best teacher for students. Nevertheless, we may question the reliability of students' interest when in practice. Education effectiveness cannot be achieved without taking these issues into consideration. Moreover, this specifically designed system does not have to be the only way out. Some other alternatives are cooperation activities and discussion. They make up with the points missed by such specifically designed education.

Life. Time. Dream

有一个网站http://www.timenetsule.com很有趣。你可以现在写一段话,然后网站会把它封存,在指定的时间之后再用邮件发会给你。
跟wooddy把自己的短期梦想写了进去,时间设为2年。不知道毕业的时候能不能实现。一起share dream的感觉很神奇。
然后呢,就是10年。畅想一下10年之后的自己是如何的状态。10年是很难想象的时间,可能到时候已经把舍友们忘却,已经把现在幼稚的梦想忘记,甚至很难想象10年之后再看到现在富有想象力创造力的梦想的感觉。甚至那个网站没几年就破产了,或者gmail也不存在了. 甚至自己过上了跟现在理想完全不同的道路,过着完全不同的生活。时间真是神奇。未来无法想象!
Life. Time. Dream. 期待那一天收到邮件,那将是2017-6-20。那是一个星期二。

Discover

香港归来,生活一下子有点措手不及。就像在时空中穿梭一样,Back to the future的感觉,还要面对重修的郁闷。于是,前段时间太过颓废,天天泡在宿舍里面apprentice & Sex and city. 把好几个season看完了. 还有就是跟猛腾吹水. 百般聊赖。
周末回了一趟广州,拿回来一本北美范文,陡然的,生活有了寄托。猫在自习室,怒看范文,怒背套路。周围的人呢,一个个抱着本六级真题怒做。忽然觉得生活又有了奔头。
端午节晚上跟猛腾还有茶督撑去吃粽子,已经不记得上一次吃粽子是什么时候的事情了。平时看到粽子我一定会敬而远之,这次竟然发现味道还不错。
林一峰,多少年前就已经知道他。一直没仔细听听,从wooddy那偶然听到竟然觉得很不错!一下子离不开了~
打开电脑。很久以前就知道google calender 还有google reader,一直没有用。现在用起来真是爽!把自己要做的东西全部丢进去calender,把zhuaxia的东西全部放进去reader.怒好用!
 
某一天看到一句猛话:对于生活在水中的鱼来说,发现水的一刹那,就叫做"悟"。对于生活中的我,生活似乎总是平淡的无奇的。但是当我发现北美范文的时候,当我发现粽子,林一峰的时候,当我发现 google calender & google reader的时候,发现这些原本就已经在生活中而我只是习以为常的并忽略掉的东西的时候,我似乎悟到了"悟"是什么。而生活会继续,GRE,期末考,Beijing,  实变还有泛函...

全A目标破产

早上起来,就可以查成绩。果然,预料之中,全A目标破产,只因为国际金融拿了个A-.
开心的是,investment竟然破天荒地拿了个A,说不定成为岭南大学上创造历史的一个人,哈哈~ 没有给内地生丢脸!
香港之旅就此结束,捧着成绩单,感觉很满足。
